Real review of epicanthoplasty revision

I finally had my epicanthoplasty revision stitches removed today! I had epicanthoplasty revision + reconstruction of one side, and I was wondering if there was even an eye worse than mine, with severe scarring, asymmetry, and a lot of exposed lacrimal caruncle?.. Most posts said epicanthoplasty revision is only possible if there’s enough extra skin at the inner corner, but I basically had almost none. No, actually none at all... (to the point that even pulling it by hand wouldn’t budge it) The conditions I wanted were: - A place that can do revision even without extra skin - A place that designs it so it won’t spread into a D-shape after revision - A place where the shape won’t change over time I searched based on those three criteria, and there was only one clinic that really matched what I wanted Since I thought eyes are something you can’t undo if they go wrong, I really did a very careful in-person search. I decided I should do it at this clinic, so I booked consultation and surgery together, paid the deposit, and had surgery on the same day I visited. During the consultation on the day of surgery, they explained that a bit of Mongolian fold might form, but I actually preferred that. I thought having a moderate Mongolian fold looks much more natural... (I wanted to go back to my old eyes) My request was basically: even if the distance between my eyes gets wider, please block all of the exposed lacrimal caruncle. But the director said that probably wouldn’t be possible ^^ I also liked that they clearly said when something couldn’t be done. If they say it can be done and then it can’t, isn’t that just giving false hope? For someone like me who is obsessive about exposed lacrimal caruncle, even a 0.1 mm difference in the eyes feels huge.. But the director seemed even more meticulous than I was, 계속 adjusting the design.. such a detail master I don’t know how many times they placed the ruler on me Having them operate while coordinating with the patient was really reassuring for someone sensitive about exposed lacrimal caruncle This photo was taken right after the stitches were removed, so the swelling between my eyes is still pretty bad. Because of bruising and swelling, the space between my eyes looks a little wider, but when they checked the progress, the intercanthal width had not changed! I’m so satisfied I ended up talking a lot.. This really seems like the best surgery I’ve had this year. Even people around me said it seems like the best thing I’ve had done so far!!! The end of tuning is returning to the original This is truly the first review I’ve ever written for a surgery I paid for myself 🩵🪽 Strongly recommend it to everyone here who’s thinking about epicanthoplasty revision
