Nose Surgery Reviews

Revision revision nose surgery, week 2

Here are the before and after photos, day 14. I had an autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage bridge with silicone. For my revision of a revision rhinoplasty, I selected and consulted at three hospitals out of many. First of all, as a Korean national living overseas, I had a very limited two-month stay in Korea, so I was extremely selective. What I focused on when choosing a hospital was the atmosphere of the hospital (no factory-like place), the director's consultation detail, whether the aesthetic style was similar to mine, the experience, and especially whether they truly cared for patients in aftercare. I wanted to find a place like that. My own aesthetic standards were: a natural connection from the forehead to the start of the nose, no obvious pointy nose, but the unique heaviness should disappear, the nasolabial angle and philtrum should look natural, no long nose, and a standard for correcting a white nose. To cut to the chase, the reason I chose Yejin Plastic Surgery was, first, two of my friends around me had surgery there, and I saw with my own eyes that both were very satisfied with the results. In particular, one friend had surgery 9 years ago, and even now it still looks natural and satisfying, which made me trust them even more. Second, it was a hospital that does not advertise. In this era of excessive marketing, I wanted to find a place recognized by skill and word of mouth rather than by huge advertising, event promotions, and heavily edited before-and-after photos. Finding a specialist in one field who has carried their own name for a long time and built trust felt like looking for a pearl in the desert. It felt hopeless. Still, I found it based on my own standards. I had known about this place since after my friend had surgery there 9 years ago. What impressed me especially was that the director had been running the hospital under his own name for 19 years. I think being able to stay in one place for such a long time means not only good surgical results, but also consistent trust in complication management and aftercare. That made it even easier to choose with confidence. And, if I may say so, this is purely my personal judgment, but I chose it because I thought this might be the best time in the director's career as a surgeon. (manual skill, aesthetic sense, detail, safety, and so on) Third was the trust and detail in the consultation. In the consultation process, they carefully explained the line I wanted and the direction that suited my face, and they honestly told me not only the strengths but also the limitations and things to watch out for. I felt a very strong sense of trust. In conclusion, I chose Yejin Plastic Surgery because I could feel the director's skilled career and the know-how from many years of extensive surgical experience.
