I had a cosmetic nose procedure in the past, and I guess the saying that once you get a procedure, you end up needing surgery is true. In the end I removed what I had done before and had surgery at [Clinic A]. I had seen several friends who needed revision surgery because their nasal tips had dropped, so even though this was my first surgery, I wanted to use autologous costal cartilage. I also made a slight lengthening. My friends say the swelling is still pretty substantial, but is that really the case? From the side it looks nicely elevated, but from the front it also seems natural. Still, I am satisfied because it seems to have turned out more harmoniously than I expected. It would be great if just the tip became a little slimmer. Please let the swelling go down more 🙏🏻 And the area around the ribs where the cartilage was harvested is fine now. For up to 2 weeks it hurt every time I moved.. Still, I recommend autologous costal cartilage in the long run!! haha
