My nose was low to begin with, but the tip was really short. Since I was young, people teased me for looking like a pig's nose, and I thought of it as a lifelong complex. But after rhinoplasty, I feel more confident and I'm really satisfied.
When I was looking into hospitals, you have no idea how many reviews of male rhinoplasty I searched through.. lol I also wanted to fix the functional side while getting the nose surgery, and [Clinic A] seemed like the best fit for me. Even comparing the reviews, this place seemed to be the best, so I went in for a consultation, and I asked my younger sibling to come with me to the consultation too lol
I also didn't like that my nose looked too big overall, so I wanted nostril reduction, but [Doctor A] said that when I smile my nostrils spread quite a bit, and nostril reduction can look unnatural, so it should be considered as conservatively as possible. My septum was severely deviated, so he recommended autologous costal cartilage for the cartilage, and because it felt like he was only recommending the surgeries I really needed, I went ahead and set the surgery date right away.
When the splint came off, I liked how the bridge and tip line looked masculine. The shape turned out very naturally, so I'm extremely satisfied. They made a custom implant to fit my nasal bone, so maybe that's why it looks even more natural. The nasal congestion was completely improved, so breathing at night is comfortable lol
