Nose Surgery Reviews

🌟Annoying, but sharing for the public good: 10-month rhinoplasty review!

I originally came in planning to write a review around the 2- to 3-month mark, but I kept putting it off because I was lazy, so I am only writing it now lol. Honestly, the surgery turned out so well that I no longer had any reason to come back here. That just shows how satisfied I was, and still, I want to leave this review for the public good(?) in hopes it helps anyone thinking about a revision or rhinoplasty even a little. My last review was at one month, and back then I thought it already looked pretty good, right? But when I compare it to photos now, there was still quite a bit of swelling then. It really seems like a nose changes a lot as the swelling gradually goes down over time. Now it looks much more natural and is exactly the kind of nose I wanted, and I am truly very satisfied. What I am happiest about is the side profile. I really gained a lot of confidence when taking photos, and before, I hated the rear camera so much, but now that burden is almost gone. My face definitely gained more dimension too, so even when I look at a mirror from far away, my features look much sharper. Before, my face felt a bit flat overall and had almost no dimension, but even though I only changed my nose, it felt like my whole face changed. As the swelling went down, that difference became even more noticeable. People around me asked me a lot if I had also done my mouth and chin just because I had my nose done lol (my mouth used to protrude like Yoo Jae-suk). As the nose rose naturally, the center of my face came alive, so my mouth looks much less protruded than before and my jawline feels a little slimmer? I especially heard a lot that I looked like I had lost weight, which was funny because after surgery I actually gained more weight lol. Even so, I heard over and over that my face looks smaller and more refined. I had the surgery at [Clinic A] with Director Park Gui-yong at Finish Plastic Surgery. Since I was going to do it only once anyway, I thought that even if it cost a bit more, I should go with a director who has a lot of experience and is skilled, so after the consultation I chose the chief director, and overall I was satisfied with everything from consultation to surgery to follow-up. Because it was autologous costal cartilage, it is not possible to leave absolutely no rib scar at all. Still, they made the incision as small as possible, and I received scar treatment and scar laser for about three months after surgery, so now the scar is not very noticeable. I am satisfied enough at this point, so I plan to stop here, but if people have more room in their budget, I think getting a bit more scar laser would make it even better. (If you want details about pain or the recovery process, I wrote them pretty thoroughly in my older reviews, so checking those out may help.) I will upload as many photos as possible, but the first photo is the most recent one, and the further back you go, the older the photos are. I will also include both makeup and bare-faced photos, so that should help. I hope this review helps anyone who is thinking about rhinoplasty or revision surgery even a little, and personally, I recommend getting plenty of consultations before deciding. Still, speaking from my own experience, I feel confident recommending this clinic. Of course, everyone has different ideals, so it is essential to visit and compare several places!! And just in case anyone doubts me, I will say this in advance lol: I am the type who, when I am really satisfied with something, writes reviews very carefully as if repaying a favor haha. Please think of this as just a review written with the wish to give even a little back to the director, whom I think of as my surgery father. I hope you can take only the information you need. This will probably be the last time I do anything to my face. I had my eyes done in middle school and my nose in my early 20s, so that is enough for me. So I do not think I will be coming here for a while, or even for quite a long time. Still, until around the middle of next month, I will check in from time to time, and if comments are left, I will answer as sincerely as I can within my knowledge. ((My nose before surgery was extremely low and in a pretty serious state, basically a legendary no-nose case, but I was too lazy to look for the photos, so I did not include them;; If anyone is curious, click my ID and look in the post list under the surgery review section.)) To everyone like my past self who is now agonizing over rhinoplasty, I hope this helped even a little!!!! haha
