Nose Surgery Reviews

My ideal nose after 11 clinic consults, more satisfied the more I look at it

I went through a lot of emotional stress before deciding on revision rhinoplasty. My nose was short and upturned, so I felt stressed every time I looked in the mirror, and since I had already had one surgery, the idea of going back onto the operating table was terrifying.

I did not want to regret this one, so I visited 11 clinics in person for consultations. Each clinic had a different way of looking at my nose and different suggestions, but I trusted the director who understood most accurately the natural, refined line I wanted.

The part I worried about most during the consultation was whether the tip would drop again or become too artificial and high. I also mentioned the pinched nostrils, the crooked nasal axis, and the short, upturned tip, and instead of looking at each problem separately, they explained everything while considering the overall balance from the front and side.

What felt most trustworthy was the promise to make a nose that would blend naturally with my face over time, rather than making it flashy by force.

Haha, now that even the minor swelling has almost gone down, the nose line has settled in much slimmer and more refined than it looked at first.

These days, every morning when I wake up and look in the mirror, I check my nose first and start the day feeling satisfied.

T_T It really feels like the time I spent visiting 11 clinics and working so hard was not wasted at all.

What still amazes me as time passes is that the tip, which I was most worried about, is not sagging and does not have that hard, artificial feeling like something was stuffed inside it. Instead, it is blending into my face naturally as if it were my original nose, and the awkwardness I felt at the tip early on has almost completely disappeared.

The pinched nostrils that caused my stress have been smoothed out naturally, and the crooked nasal axis looks straighter than before, so from the front my nose looks really slim.

Haha, the autologous costal cartilage harvest area, which was a little uncomfortable at first, has now healed to the point that the scar is hardly noticeable, so everyday life is comfortable.

These days, when I meet acquaintances, they often ask why my overall impression has become so much more elegant or say my nose line is so pretty and ask for the clinic information, lol.

It is only one feature that changed, but my whole impression feels more polished and clearer, so I think it was unbelievably the right choice to trust the director's eye and go through with it.

If you are someone like me who has been struggling mentally while considering revision rhinoplasty because of pinched nostrils or an upturned nose, I hope you do not rush your decision and instead take enough time to find a medical team that truly understands your concerns and the direction you want.

Since I got a satisfying result after a long period of deliberation and clinic visits, I am now ready to let go of my nose-related stress and enjoy a new peak period of my life. ♥️
