Nose Surgery Reviews

Review of nose surgery for a bulbous nose, without being greedy!! (2 mm silicone inserted)

It had been a few months since my surgery, and I felt like I had not posted any updates, so this time I brought photos too. My original nose, seen from the front, had no visible bridge, and it was a bulbous nose that gradually widened toward the tip. The part of my nose I cared about most and disliked the most was the wide nostrils, so I was sure I wanted nostril reduction, and I thought I had to go somewhere that would make the columella pretty... So I looked at reviews focusing on nostril reduction, bulbous nose, and columella, and consulted at several places, but most of them advised against nostril reduction. When I asked why, they said that... with a nose that has not had anything done to it, the nostrils can look wide, but if you add silicone to the bridge, add material to the tip, and also shave down the side bones of the bridge, then doing nostril reduction too could make it look too narrow and unnatural... At first I did not understand when they said, “It seems like you do not need nostril reduction,” but after hearing the explanation in detail, it made sense. They also said that if a bulbous nose is overcorrected, and later a non-incisional method was used, there are cases where nostril reduction gets undone... In the end, I was thinking of doing it for correcting the bulbous nose, and also for correcting the bulbous nose, and again for correcting the bulbous nose... and on top of that I was thinking of doing something else for correcting the bulbous nose... Anyway, after the consultation I decided on surgery at the place I liked best and went home. It was my first nose surgery too... Since it was a surgery I had wanted all my life, I was half excited and wanted to do it as soon as possible, and half worried it would hurt a lot... On the day of surgery, I brought a mask and a bucket hat, just those two, and went into the operating room, feeling even more nervous than with other surgeries... I was worried that anesthesia would not work because I was so tense, but... yeah, that was an unnecessary worry~ When I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room lol. After surgery, seeing my front view, I definitely thought that if nostril reduction had been added there, it would have looked excessive. I am not very good with aesthetics... Even in daily life, I ask my friends whether clothes look okay before I buy them, so I thought it was right to trust the specialist.
