Review of revision rhinoplasty for a man at [Clinic A]: autologous costal cartilage + hump nose + bulbous nose correction

After my first surgery failed, I was really stressed about my nose for a long time, but eventually I gathered my courage and had revision surgery. Time really does fly. During the first surgery, the silicone shifted a bit and my crooked nose became more pronounced, and the hump and bulbous look I had naturally were not corrected properly, so from the front my nose looked blunt and crooked.. Also, when I looked from the side, my mouth seemed a bit protruded, so this time I combined it with nasolabial angle correction as well. Since it was revision surgery, I needed a solid support structure, so I used autologous costal cartilage as the material, and the wider areas on both sides of the nasal bone were refined again with osteotomy. Honestly, when they said they would take cartilage from my ribs, I was really worried about the pain, but the rib area was more manageable than I expected, aside from some soreness for a few days. The two days with my nose blocked were the worst hell. It has now been over a year, and the crooked part has definitely been corrected, and the bulbous nose has also been refined nicely, so personally I am very satisfied. Once the nasolabial angle was adjusted, the protruding look around my mouth also improved, so I like the side profile. It really is true that for men, the nose determines the impression. I am sure there are many people like me who failed their first surgery and stayed up every night searching Naver or cafe posts for male revision rhinoplasty reviews, but please do not rush. Make sure to visit at least 3 to 4 places in person. For revision surgery, material choice and the surgeon’s experience are really more important than anything else. If anyone needs information, leave a comment and I’ll share it by message or reply when I have time. I hope everyone succeeds this time~
