Nose Surgery Reviews

Inflamed nose, 2 weeks after revision for saddle nose (Alu)

After a non-implant nose surgery using only the septum last year, inflammation caused my nose to completely collapse and it became a saddle nose. While doing a lot of research, I learned that Alu Plastic Surgery is famous for specializing in revision surgery for contracture noses, so I went for a consultation. Originally, I wanted to have the revision surgery as soon as I reached the 6-month mark when it would be possible, but Director Kim Hyeon-ju told me to wait a year. That actually made me trust them more, and since I also really liked Alu’s nose shape, I ended up choosing Alu Plastic Surgery after waiting. We decided on a full autologous costal cartilage procedure with septal reconstruction, and they raised the bridge with an Innofit 3D mold. Right after surgery, I was worried about the side effects of general anesthesia, but aside from my throat feeling dry and my nose feeling spicy right after waking up from anesthesia, I was fine. The first week felt endless, and especially until day 4, I was uncomfortable because of the discharge coming out of my nose, but I really felt better once the splint came off, and time passed more smoothly too. More than anything, I was amazed that there wasn’t even a single bruise or swelling anywhere except my nose. Even while the splint was on, I liked the shape of my nose, and after the splint came off it came out exactly the way I had imagined, so I’m extremely satisfied. I’m honestly moved beyond belief that my nose changed this much from before Everyone around me says it looks beautiful too! I plan to take good care of it from now on!
