Nose Surgery Reviews

The real recovery story from someone who has touched just the nose three times, after revision rhinoplasty at ID Hospital

It’s already been almost 20 years since my first nose surgery... The first time, I had silicone in the bridge and septal cartilage in the tip, but before 6 months passed, my nostrils became asymmetrical, so I got revision surgery right away But 13 years ago, I developed inflammation during my first revision, so I removed all the silicone from the bridge and left only the tip with ear cartilage.

But as time went on, the nostril asymmetry never went away, and the scar tissue at the tip got so severe that the stress really hit its peak... Above all, the bridge kept hurting, so I knew I couldn’t keep going

On top of that, contracture developed too, so my nose became shorter and the tip got pulled off to one side, and honestly I couldn’t go out even one day without a mask... It was like I didn’t even look like a person,,

So I really decided this would be my last surgery in my life and chose to go through a third revision surgery~!!

When I was looking for a hospital this time, I really dug through cafe reviews and went around a lot for consultations. I didn’t think a hospital being big automatically meant it was good, so I put the director’s experience and skill first! Since this was already my third revision and a worst-case situation with contracture too... I desperately needed someone who could restore a damaged nose to look like a normal human nose, rather than someone who just makes pretty, flashy noses beautiful...

Even while going around for consultations, my nose condition was such a mess that I felt hurt and frustrated, and I remember crying a lot in the consultation room... In the end, I picked ID Hospital, and Director Hwang Sehui comforted me and gave me a totally serious consultation mode He clearly said what could not be done could not be done, pointed out what could be done, and explained with facts exactly why my nose had been damaged, and that’s where my trust really went up.! So I booked with the director right away~

It hasn’t been that long since the surgery, so there’s still a little residual swelling left. Even so, just looking at my current recovery state, I can’t believe it could change this much, and I’m just grateful every day... Especially the nose that had been pulled up and shortened because of contracture has been corrected downward a lot, and the overall line and shape have finally taken proper form!! The front-view tip deviation that stressed me out the most has also completely disappeared, so every time I look in the mirror I’m genuinely more than satisfied

I honestly never dreamed I’d be writing such a satisfying revision rhinoplasty review with my own hands, but that’s how comfortable and satisfied I am both functionally and in appearance, so I’m leaving this here. I really, really hope it settles in well this time
