I’m now 8 weeks after getting arm fat extraction injections. I thought you might be curious about the recovery process, so I wrote it out step by step. Right after the procedure: once the anesthesia wore off, I felt soreness. It was more like severe muscle soreness than real pain. I put on the compression garment right away, and raising my arms was a little uncomfortable. Day 3 to 5: the swelling was at its worst. My arms definitely felt hard and swollen. The bruises also came up yellow and purplish. Still, daily life was manageable. Week 2: the bruising was almost gone and the swelling started to go down little by little. From this point on, I started to feel that my arm line looked a bit different. The outer side of my arms felt more refined. Week 4: I started reducing how often I wore the compression garment. From the front, the thickness looked slimmer than before. I could see the difference when wearing fitted clothes. The major swelling had mostly gone, and I’m happiest with the side line. The sagging feeling under my arms has been improved a lot.
