I recently developed body-image anxiety and went in for a consultation planning to have eye surgery only, but after being told I should fix my nose more than my eyes, I ended up getting nose surgery too without thinking much about it. In fact, I had always known my nose was the problem, but I was too scared to even consider it. Since I was already getting my eyes done, I thought I might as well go ahead and do it, so I did.
It's now day 12 after the eye and nose surgeries, and I'm scared of complications and feel like I look way too masculine, so I'm sinking into self-loathing. I keep thinking, why did I even do this, and I feel like I'm going to get depressed T_T I had silicone, lengthening, bulbous-tip correction, osteotomy, and autologous rib cartilage used... T_T Maybe I was insane. Looking it up now, it seems like I did everything that carries a high risk of side effects...
Before surgery I went in with no information at all, and only now have I joined a community and started reading. I heard that the place I had surgery at might be blacklisted... I'm so scared that even a little discomfort in my nose will lead to complications, and I'm in that state T_T On day 12, is it still normal for the nasal tip to feel tight or painful? T_T My body-image anxiety and fear are hitting me so hard that I'm even posting here for reassurance T_T
