It has finally been a week since the surgery! I still can't open my mouth wide, but compared with day 3, the wounds inside my mouth have healed a lot, so it feels much more comfortable. The slight underbite-like feeling I had has improved a lot too, and the 45-degree cheekbone line that the quick cheekbone procedure could not fix has become much smoother. Most of all, my overall impression looks much softer, so I'm very satisfied. When I wake up in the morning, my face still feels a little heavy, but I have almost no bruising, and recovery seems to be really fast overall. I'm also cutting my food into small pieces and eating fairly well, and as the swelling goes down day by day, I can see the changes, so I'm even more excited for what's ahead.
