It’s a revision surgery, and one eye has completely come undone (it came undone just a few months after the incisional surgery), while the other eye still has a crease, but it’s starting to come undone very slightly. I have protruding eyes, thin skin, and my first surgery was incisional! The issue is that the doctor said they can’t guarantee it won’t come undone afterward, whether it’s incisional or non-incisional hahaㅠ But they did say that incisional would be less likely to come undone..
1. Non-incisional (natural adhesion) Pros: Less swelling, faster recovery, the crease settles in a short period of time, so it’s good for daily life Cons: The pro and con are the same: the only side effect is that it comes undone.. But there’s a high chance it could come undone quickly (the doctor said it’s a matter of luck)
2. Incisional Pros: Lower chance of coming undone, and they can also do fat repositioning above the eyes, so they said this is better in the long run Cons: Since it’s incisional, there’s a possibility of a sausage-like crease and swelling lasts longer; they said they may remove a veeeery small amount of skin, and there would be more scarring or things like that compared to non-incisional
Since I have sleepy-looking eyes, they recommended very slight ptosis correction whether I do non-incisional or incisional, but I’m worried because reviews for non-incisional ptosis correction aren’t good
