Had nose surgery? A 6-month review of reduction rhinoplasty for a more natural look, hearing that I look prettier than before

I had a thick-skinned bulbous nose + a slightly dorsal hump, and my nose was my biggest complex. Even though I got procedures done elsewhere, I had never had anything done to my nose and lived like that, but as I got older it felt too plain and lacked any kind of refinement(?), so I decided to get nose surgery.I looked for a clinic with these conditions: no flashy nose, absolutely natural results, and only places with an ENT specialist who also does rhinitis surgery. After visiting several places, my friend told me she had nose surgery a few years ago and was happy with both how natural it looked and her rhinitis surgery, so I got a consultation and after a few days of visiting around, I chose here.(Places that pressure you into deciding right away by saying they’ll give a discount if you sign the same day and don’t give you time to think are a pass for me)Even at 2-3 months, I thought a lot of the swelling had gone down, but it seems like the real deal starts from 6 months... my nose really looks different Because my nasal tissue is on the thicker side, the tip still feels like it hasn’t fully settled, but I’m expecting it to look even more different after 1 year.What I’ve felt most strongly now that 6 months have passed is that I didn’t want trend-following cosmetic surgery, but rather a natural change that suits my face without being overdone,and the director really brought out that preference so well..My face has side cheekbones and a lot of empty space, so instead of making the nose too small, they said that since my alar rim was drooping, I should lift the alar rim instead of reducing the nostrils, so I listened and lifted the alar rim, and I’m glad I did.Lifting it raised the nose height, which also had the effect of nostril reduction.And many people say not to recommend rhinitis surgery, but I used to have trouble breathing from rhinitis at least once a month + headaches constantly, and up to now I haven’t had a single time where I suffered because of rhinitis.I’ve been living as if I’d forgotten I even had rhinitis.Because I did it naturally and without overdoing it, instead of hearing, “Did you get your nose done?” I hear that my vibe has changed and that I look prettier.
