After my nose surgery (silicone bridge + tip and columella with autologous costal cartilage - first surgery), my bridge became crooked, my nostril heights became uneven, and the tip kept turning red, so I asked the hospital about removal. They said they absolutely do not recommend removal, because it was built up after shaving down my original nose, so it would collapse much more than my original nose and just droop down. Have people who had complete removal been okay and satisfied even after taking out everything that was put in? Or do they put something back in anyway to preserve the shape..? The hospital said to just shave down a bit of the silicone and autologous costal cartilage in my current nose and reinforce the red, pointy tip with alloderm.. but I wanted to remove everything And about the uneven nostrils, they said my nasal septum was already crooked to begin with, and once the height was raised, the bridge also looked crooked and the nostrils became uneven. If so, if the height is lowered, does it go back to how it was originally?; they said that is not the case either, and I still do not really understand this part. I know the septum is asymmetric, but visually my original nose had no asymmetry at all.. Then do people with asymmetrical septums all end up with crooked noses and uneven nostrils after surgery?; I am also wondering whether a revision surgery would be better at the original hospital, or whether I should look around and go somewhere new.. But these days hospitals do not even take CT scans, they just do a quick consultation and charge 30,000 won for the consultation fee, so I wonder if doing the revision at the original hospital is just the right thing
