While looking into hip fillers, I thought that considering retention period and volume, fat grafting might actually be better, so I had a consultation and went ahead with surgery. My hips were not completely flat to begin with, but the side line was a little lacking, and I also wanted to refine the inner thighs and riding saddlebags, so I had thigh liposuction and hip fat grafting together. Right after surgery the swelling made it hard to see the shape, but now the swelling has gone down and the line seems to have come out naturally. Especially when I wear pants, my thighs look less bulky and my hips have more volume, so my overall silhouette has become prettier. It feels like my body has just been refined a little more, and I am satisfied. Even in photos, my side view seems to come out much better than before.
