I had a few chickenpox scars on my forehead. They had actually been there since I was little, so I just lived with them. But as I got older, the indented areas started standing out even when I wore foundation. So I looked into laser treatment, but because the depressions were severe and the scars had been there since I was very young, I heard a lot that laser treatment alone would be a bit difficult. That’s why I looked into scar removal surgery, got a consultation, and went ahead right away. Before, the shadows were obvious whenever light hit them, but now they barely show even with just a thin layer of foundation. I feel like in time, it’ll be to the point where nobody can tell at all. I wish I had done it earlier. It was also nice that they explained the aftercare in detail once the surgery was done.
