My eyes used to be the textbook example of a cramped narrow-eye look. The horizontal and vertical widths were both narrow, so my expression always looked stuffy and sleepy, which was really stressful.
At the same time, I didn’t want an obvious “I had surgery!!” outer line that looked too plastic. I wanted a natural in-out line that wouldn’t go out of style, and I wanted my double eyelids to be much more defined than they were before.
My goal was to improve the narrow-eye look clearly while still looking natural and becoming prettier without it showing. That was exactly the vibe I wanted.
I visited a lot of well-known places for eyes, but nowhere explained things as specifically as Director Kim Tae-woon at [Clinic A]. He looked at my eyes and said that if I wanted to reduce the sleepy look and make the line look clearer and wider, non-incisional ptosis correction was the right choice, and that the cramped narrow-eye feeling would open up a lot if I lowered the space below the eyes with a lower canthoplasty. I nodded so hard on the way out.
He adjusted the maximum line to fit my facial proportions so the stuffiness would be completely relieved, and the moment he showed me the line, I knew that was it. Even the angle for lowering the lower canthoplasty was fine-tuned carefully so it wouldn’t look excessive and would still give me a kind-looking eye shape.
After surgery, I took the swelling medication set sold at pharmacies and walked more than 10,000 steps a day. Thanks to the ptosis correction, my pupils are now clearly visible without straining to open my eyes, and the lower space at the outer lower area was opened up so much by the lower canthoplasty that the narrow-eye look disappeared completely.
There’s almost no swelling or pain compared with what I expected, and the line is coming out really well, so I’m very satisfied right now.
