So I looked really hard for a director who could create a clean line, mainly through eye correction. I filtered out ads and searched only real reviews, and the review for Director Kim Tae-woon at ID Hospital was exactly the kind of natural but pretty line I wanted, so I booked a consultation and went.
At the consultation, the director looked at my eyes and said that to avoid overcorrection, we should do only the amount of incision eye correction needed, and for the part that looked heavy because of the epicanthic fold, we should open it a little with front canthoplasty to make it look refreshed.
It didn’t feel like he was just recommending a big line for everyone, but like he was pinpointing exactly what my eyes needed, so I trusted him right away and booked the surgery date lol
On the day of surgery, I was honestly super nervous, but before I knew it I was in the recovery room... Now the major swelling is gradually going down and the line is settling in. The best part is definitely that when I open my eyes, I can do it comfortably without using my forehead muscles!!! And that dull, sleepy-looking gaze has improved a lot too
The front canthoplasty also wasn’t done too aggressively, so there’s no redness or hooked look, just a clean refreshed opening There’s still some minor swelling that has to go down before it becomes fully natural like my own eyes, but just looking at the line right now, I can already tell this was a huge success T_T Director Kim Tae-woon really seems to have excellent hands...
