It has been 2 weeks since the removal. On Monday I am going to get the internal stitches taken out The photos are of my surgery nose - injured nose - removed nose. My nose is still swollen and broad, and the side view is something I am more satisfied with than my surgery nose. It was 10 years after my first surgery, and the tip kept dropping, becoming shorter and turning into a straight nose, so it looked like a nose stuffed with chalk. It had also started to lift After surgery, less of the nostrils are visible and the side view has become more natural, which I like. Once the swelling goes down, it will probably look lower, right?
I was most worried about the dented area, but it is smooth with no uneven step! I just hope it stays like this.. I am really glad I got free from the nasal packing, and there are no problems when I bend my head down or lift it, and I am washing my face very gently. They said not to touch it too much for a month, and also said not to touch inside the nose until the internal stitches are removed, so when my nose runs I only wipe the outside, and I try to endure the itching once in a while When I saw that the skin on my nose was wrinkling, it turned out the skin layer was starting to peel off.
Right now I am taking my prescribed medicine properly and focusing on reducing the swelling. Sometimes I wonder if it will stay broad like this forever, but then I turn on my positive mindset again and keep going. I am worried about getting through the contraction period well.
