Before surgery, I really went to a ton of hospitals, but looking back now, I wonder why I worried so much haha. At first I was dead set on semi-out, so I went to consultations, but as I looked into it more, in-out and the middle type started to look pretty too, and I got more and more confused. So every time I went for a consultation, I kept trying on the line and showing photos, but in the end I realized that rather than just insisting on the look I wanted, finding a line that suits my eyes was more important!!
Right after surgery, there was swelling as expected, so I was a little worried Especially since I wanted it to look natural, I was concerned it might look too strong, but after one month and then two months, I could see it gradually settling into the kind of look I wanted from the consultation.
It has now been 3 months since surgery, and I am super satisfied because it feels naturally defined rather than flashy and dramatic..!! Even when I put on makeup, my eyes feel much more comfortable, and when I take photos, my eyes stand out first, which is amazing.
Also, while I was going to consultations, I saw a lot of posts saying the director's aesthetic sense is important, and I think I finally understand why people say that. Even for the same semi-out style, the feeling each person creates is really different!! When I was worrying about surgery, it felt really hard, but now I kind of wish I had done it sooner
