One-Month Review After Bulbous Nose + Hump Nose + No Implant Surgery

It has already been a month since I had nose surgery from Dr. Lee Ji-hwan at [Clinic A], so this is my one-month review.

Before surgery, my nose was the bulbous type, with the tip looking blunt and spread out from the front, and my biggest complex was that my nostrils were clearly visible when I looked straight ahead. I also had a slight dorsal hump, so my side profile was never smooth, and I always felt disappointed whenever I looked in the mirror.

During consultations, I said I did not want a silicone-like custom implant that would look artificial and not suit my face. Since the bridge of my nose was not especially low to begin with, after discussing it with the doctor, I decided to proceed without an implant and not raise the bridge separately.

I had the hump reduced, and the tip was corrected using septal cartilage and ear cartilage to improve the bulbous shape and visible nostrils. Right after surgery, I was surprised that there was almost no pain compared to what I had expected. In fact, I think the most painful part came later, when the stitches were removed.

Please make sure to take good aftercare steps such as scar laser treatment for the area behind the ear where the ear cartilage was taken and for the columella incision line!

The nostrils, which looked overly visible from the front, improved very clearly as the tip was brought down naturally, and as the blunt, spread-out width of the bulbous nose was reduced, my face gained more dimension and people have really often told me that I look much more refined now!

Even though no silicone was used, the hump was shaved down smoothly and the tip became more defined, so the side profile also rose in a really natural and attractive way haha
