Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Day 5 after one type of contouring!!

I left a review on day 1 last time, and now I’m back with a day 5 update because I was bored. Right now, I can fit about one and a half fingers into my mouth. My throat still hurts, and I still have a cough and a runny nose, but there’s only a little bit of blood. The cough gets worse when I sleep, so I told the hospital, and they told me to take cough syrup, so I bought some and have been taking it. My voice is okay for simple things like “yes” or “no,” but the moment I try to speak in a long sentence, I start coughing and feel like dying What’s changed now is that I switched from cold compresses to warm compresses, and the stitch area is throbbing and stinging My molars too.. so I worried maybe the wound had opened up My jaw area feels heavy and weighed down. The cough used to be a phlegmy cough, but now it’s a dry cough, so it stings The bruising feels like it’s getting darker little by little. On the other hand, when I looked from the front, I was shocked by the swelling in photos. It has gone down a lot, but the sides and the double-chin area still feel like I got stung by a bee I’m lazy, so I only walked for one hour at a time. As for food, I’m still eating what I can: New Care. If I really didn’t have New Care, I would have had such a hard time.. I tried steamed egg, but that also has to be chewed in the end, so I only ate three bites and gave up because it felt like it was getting stuck in my mouth. Maybe pudding-style steamed egg could work. Mashed boiled potatoes were okay, but they really have to be cooked through. I ordered Bbonjuk beef-and-vegetable porridge for the first time after blending it completely, and it was basically just soup... Maybe I should have blended it a little less. For now I’m eating it well though Yogurt (but I bought the wrong one so it tastes awful), dongchimi broth (there was a brief moment of pleasure when I drank this), lol. And wow, do you know ice cream? That’s waiting in the freezer.. I’m thinking of trying it today lol. That’s about all I’ve eaten so far, and my hospital says to start normal meals from day 4, but I’m going to wait until after the stitches come out because I’m scared food will get stuck in my mouth and cause inflammation. They remove the stitches on day 7, so I’m going on Friday!! I’ll try it over the weekend!! They said doing too many compresses is bad for circulation, so I’m repeating one hour of compresses, then rest, one hour, then rest. I’ve lost about 3 kg so far! Some people say stitch removal hurts and some say it doesn’t, but I’ll come back after the stitches are removed and the post-op swelling settles.
