Eye Surgery Reviews

Afraid of a lift and also hate sagging, so I did eye revision surgery + thread lifting all at once

Once I got into my 30s, the double eyelid line from the surgery I had done before started sagging and dropping lower, and the inner corners of my eyes felt heavy and covered Plus, the midface fat pads and nasolabial folds on the lower part of my face were sagging, and that bothered me every time I looked in the mirror. I hated how sagging looked, but actually getting a face lift felt too scary and like overkill. So while I was looking around for eye revision surgery, I also got a consultation for thread lifting and decided to do everything at once lol. If I was going under sedation anyway, it felt better to just get the pain over with in one go, right? The reason I chose this clinic was that when I went around getting consultations at several places, this doctor immediately understood exactly how I felt about my eyes! And instead of looking at the eyes and face line separately, they explained everything while looking at the overall balance, which put me at ease. So I picked this place to do both the surgery and the lifting lol. First, the eye revision was done with an incision! I liked my original line, so the doctor did not change it much and instead focused on opening up the heavy inner corner of the eye. But now, three months after surgery, it has settled into a slightly out-line look, and honestly that turned out even prettier and I love it completely!! Even up to one month after surgery, I still had some residual swelling, so I could not tell whether it was going down quickly or slowly, but after that it kept going down and by month 3 the swelling had completely disappeared and it looks truly natural, like my original eyes. I was so worried about scars because it was an incision, but even without makeup it is almost not noticeable, so I am really satisfied. My eye shape looks much clearer! As for the thread lifting, I left everything entirely to the doctor lol The doctor was really thorough during the consultation. I told them I was worried about sagging midface fat pads and a slight hollowing in my face. The doctor said that with thread lifting, they create support with threads inside the sagging area, help collagen production, and pursue a natural method that lifts the skin's own elasticity. They also said that if my skin were pulled too aggressively, the hollow area could end up looking more prominent, so we should aim for a natural improvement in elasticity! They explained in great detail the direction the threads would go and the design based on my face, so I really trusted them and went with long fixation lol During weeks 1 to 2, there was a slight stinging and pulling sensation when opening my mouth wide or smiling, but now at 3 months there is no foreign-body feeling at all and it has settled in like my own skin lol It lifted very naturally without feeling artificially pulled tight, and just as the doctor said, the sagging midface fat pads were neatly addressed without making the hollowing look worse, so my jawline looks slimmer My nasolabial folds improved too, and I can really feel it in photos! I think the early swelling and the thread-pulling sensation were a bit rough, but looking back now, I really think it was great that I did both at once. If you are worried about things like eye droopiness, sagging midface fat pads, or nasolabial folds like I was, but are afraid of a lift, definitely consider doing both together under sedation~!
