I’m leaving a review after some time has passed since my functional-aesthetic nose surgery. I originally started looking into functional rhinoplasty because of nasal congestion, but after the consultation I was told that the functional and cosmetic parts could be improved together, so I went ahead with functional-aesthetic nose surgery.
Right after surgery I was a bit worried because of the swelling and stuffy feeling, but as I recovered I could feel that breathing was becoming easier. Especially the symptom where one nostril used to get blocked often decreased a lot, so daily life became much more comfortable.
I’m also satisfied with the appearance. I didn’t want a dramatic change, but as the overall nasal line was refined, my impression became cleaner. People around me also kept saying something looked different but natural, which made me even more satisfied personally.
It still hasn’t fully settled, so I’ll need to watch it a bit longer, but so far I’m happy with both the functional and cosmetic results. If you’re worried about nasal congestion like I was, I think it would be worth getting a consultation for functional-aesthetic nose surgery.
