Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

How do you decide on a clinic, whether it’s for rhinoplasty or implant removal?

It’s been a little over 10 years since I had my nose surgery, but recently it feels like my nose has become upturned, so I had consultations at three clinics about removing the silicone implant and ear cartilage completely. I originally had four consultations booked, but I’m thinking of just canceling the last, fourth consultation.

For now, I’ve ruled out one of the three, and I’m debating which of the two clinics I should go to.

Both are among the “top three” well-known clinics for removal, and the removal? method was the same at both places.

If I call them A and B, before the consultation, I honestly didn’t have much expectation for A, but the director was much kinder than I expected and explained things really well. The director also touched the tip of my nose and I found out that my silicone implant was L-shaped (I had thought it wasn’t L-shaped). Since I didn’t really know what a capsule was, they even showed me a medical textbook while explaining it.. More than anything, I liked that they said things that felt sincere. The consultant here was very kind, so even afterward when I asked various questions, they explained things well. I said I wanted to schedule the surgery quickly and asked when it would be possible, and they clearly told me which dates were currently open. This place seems to be famous for being very kind, and I think I’ve seen people say they provide good aftercare.

Even before going to the consultation at B, I was thinking, “As long as I don’t feel offended during the consultation, I’ll do it here.” I guess they seemed to have a lot of experience, and I felt I could trust them… The director here seems to be someone people either like or dislike. I did get scolded a bit? too, but that was okay. I went in already knowing that, and I actually felt it made them seem more trustworthy. How should I put it, they had a very conservative professor-like vibe.. Of course, they also seemed to care about the patient. However, the consultant gave me the feeling that they didn’t really want to answer many questions about aftercare, whether I’d get a piggy nose, or additional questions, and it felt like they just wanted to end the consultation quickly, so I’m really conflicted… Afterward, when I said I wanted to schedule the surgery soon and asked when it would be possible, they basically said they couldn’t tell me unless I was sure I was going to book it..

So I’m still debating.. For those of you who were torn between clinics, I’m curious how you ended up choosing one ㅠㅠ
