7-Week Double Eyelid Revision Review

I had double eyelid revision surgery with Dr. Kim Jun-young, the chief surgeon, on May 1. First of all, during the consultation, the doctor explained everything so honestly and clearly that I trusted him even more. My existing double eyelids were natural, but they were disappointingly natural, so I wanted a sharper line. The original plan was double eyelids + upper canthoplasty, but the doctor honestly told me right away that my eyes would not be suitable for the outer-line I had hoped for, and even though I asked several times, he kept adjusting the line and let me look at the feeling slowly. And above all, I had been debating whether to do epicanthoplasty until the day of surgery, but he did not pressure me at all, which made me trust him even more. He even gave feedback that not doing the canthoplasty might actually be better. The surgery day itself went very smoothly, and the doctor, the manager, and the nurses were all extremely kind and made me feel comfortable. Of course, for the first 1 to 2 weeks I was swollen, but there was less swelling than I had expected, which was surprising (the swelling was worst during the first week). After 2 weeks, the line started to look much cleaner, and in the 3rd week I even went to a music festival... It was that comfortable, and I recovered quickly without any disruption to daily life. The hardest part was the dryness and itchiness in my eyes. I usually rub my eyes a lot in daily life, so just resisting that was the hardest part (...) As I wanted, the outer line definitely became more defined, and people around me have been saying I look prettier even though I did not say anything first, so I am very, very happy... I am so satisfied that if I later think about upper canthoplasty again (this is purely my personal wish), I would like to visit again.
