Male lower eyelid surgery, a little over 2 months later

I am writing this honestly from my current state at week 6, hoping it helps even a little bit for people who are thinking about surgery... I guess it is almost 3 months now? At first, I thought I just had dark circles, but when I squinted my eyes? and looked closely, the fat was bulging out. So even when I was not smiling, I always looked tired, and when I took photos the shadow under my eyes was really heavy, so I was told very often that I did not look good, and also asked very often what I was upset about... I tried every concealer people said was good, but once time passed it would all cake and actually look even more obvious lol. Maybe it was because I am not good at makeup, but I just did not like it. It felt unsatisfying. So after thinking about it for years, I ended up getting lower eyelid fat repositioning and fat grafting together. The surgery day did not hurt as much as I expected. The most difficult part was the tension when they gave the anesthesia, and after it was over it was more of a throbbing feeling. But once I got home and the anesthesia wore off, there was a tight, pulling feeling around the eyes. What was really hard was the swelling and bruising, more than the pain. My right side was especially bad, and around day 3 I looked in the mirror and kind of lost it lol. The under-eye area looked bumpy, and with the yellow bruises plus purple bruises coming up, I was shocked when I looked in the mirror lol. A lot of reviews say they are fine in a week, but for me concealer was essential whenever I met people for about 2 weeks T_T I think my circulation just is not that good. And because I had fat grafting too, at first my cheeks looked way too puffy, so I could not get used to it. Still, after about a month, the swelling went down a lot and the feeling changed. Before, when I woke up in the morning and looked in the mirror, the first thing I saw was the fat under my eyes, but now that bulge is almost gone and I am really satisfied. Also, because of the under-eye swelling, my face had a somewhat intense image, but once the residual swelling went down, I went back to my old face. One thing I noticed after doing lower eyelid surgery is that when taking group photos for early-morning soccer with the rear camera, my image looks so much cleaner?? Before, the under-eye bulge made me look not very friendly, and I was always busy asking teammates to remove it in Photoshop... lol. I worried a lot unnecessarily because of the bruising and swelling in the early recovery stage, but after 2 to 3 months I understood why so many people are highly satisfied with this surgery. Personally, if you are someone who has both bulging and hollowing, I recommend consulting about fat grafting as well. If you are not someone with hollows like me, lower eyelid surgery alone may be enough, but because I had hollows too, I think the surgeon recommended fat grafting as well. At first I wondered if it was too much, but in the end not only did my under-eyes become flat, my entire expression looks less worn out, so I am satisfied. But honestly, when I was looking into hospitals before surgery, I thought lower eyelid surgery was a really simple procedure. That did not seem to be the case. I heard it can leave the under-eye area uneven if done wrong, so I think it is better to compare about 3 to 4 places as much as possible before deciding. I had actually looked at about 7 places at first... Anyway, the surgeon who operated on me was so kind and took care of everything so carefully that I even started thinking that when I get older, I want to leave lower blepharoplasty to him too lol
