It is only day 12, so it is too early to say it failed, but I am posting this hoping it might at least be a comfort if there are people who had similar cases and later got better. I would appreciate opinions from people with similar cases. I am a woman in my late 40s, and last year after my second Thermage treatment at a dermatology clinic, maybe because it lined up with the timing of aging, or maybe because of the Thermage, my under-eyes suddenly bulged out, and while I kept worrying about it I looked up blog reviews including this community and chose one place. On June 2 this year I had a consultation and was recommended lower eyelid fat repositioning and micro autologous fat grafting, so I had the surgery right away on June 5 without consulting any other plastic surgery clinics. After deciding on surgery, I learned about complications such as blindness after bleeding, strabismus, ectropion, and entropion, and I was very anxious, but up to today, 12 days after surgery, I have had no major complications other than bruising, swelling, and a dull feeling of numbness from under the eyes up to above the cheekbones. However, my current concern is that starting from day 5 after surgery, the lower part under my left eye began to bulge as if the fat were flowing downward, and since I had tape on at the time, when I was examined on day 7 after surgery, it was the first time I saw it after removing the tape: the left under-eye was bulging, and the right side was smooth without aegyo-sal, probably because of swelling, making my eyes asymmetrical. The director explained that once the fat-grafted area in the right eye settles, it is expected to become symmetrical with the left eye, so I made an appointment for three months later and finished the visit. When I got home and looked in the mirror, the bulging shape under the left eye seemed to occupy too large an area to be just formed aegyo-sal, so I worried that the repositioned fat may not have been fixed firmly and might have slipped downward. I called the coordinator, who said the shape was not fixed yet and that the bulging-looking area would improve once the swelling went down. They said it needed to be observed for at least 3 to 6 months, and that even if it were still the same a month later they would have to give the same answer, but I was still anxious so I booked another appointment for July 3, three weeks later. They also explained that if the asymmetry remains or if the bulging shape is still too low, I may need revision surgery again after 6 months, but revision surgery is even more frightening because of the side effects, and I do not want to go through the discomfort I already experienced again, so I check the lower left eye every day. Up to today, day 12, it does not feel like it is bulging more, but it also is not shrinking, and it is still asymmetrical (the right side has no aegyo-sal at all), so I am extremely stressed. What I want to ask is whether there are people who were asymmetrical after lower eyelid surgery plus fat grafting and later had both sides balance out, and whether there are people who had a bulging, as if the fat were flowing downward under the aegyo-sal, that then shrank as the swelling went down. I would like to book a visit as soon as tomorrow and discuss the area under my eyes again, but even if the surgery was not done well, I still have to rely on them, which makes me feel like I am in the weaker position, so I am cautious. At the same time, I feel like they will just say there is nothing they can do and that I have to wait, so I am torn. In one review, someone said correction was possible within two weeks after surgery, but the coordinator said there is no such method, so should I just wait until July 3? I am uploading photos
