Eye Surgery Considerations

Next review

1. The director is extremely kind and explains everything in great detail, almost like a teacher. Even if you don’t end up having surgery, I think you’d learn a lot just by going for a consultation haha. They must explain the same thing every time, yet they still explain it very thoroughly... sometimes to the point where I feel like they could stop after one round lol. They explain with examples so you can understand. The director doesn’t feel authoritarian. 2. What’s different from other hospitals: I visited 13 places in total, and what was different here was, 1) they had a drainage bulb 2) when I was worried about size, they said they’d prepare every size within that range in the operating room and measure with a sizer (saline bag?) to put in the one that fit - but I’m a little unsure whether this is something to feel reassured about only, and I couldn’t quite judge it (other hospitals also determine the exact final size in the operating room, but usually it’s limited to things like asymmetry correction, so they don’t prepare a wide range of sizes) 3) based on Motiva, the event price was relatively cheaper than elsewhere 4) this was the only place that offered a discount for paying 3 million won in cash, but the condition was no cash receipt, and that was the biggest concern for me. Whatever it is, it means they’re doing something illegal, so I wanted to pass. 5) The director had my phone record their explanation and also took photos of my chest with my phone lol. Having my phone record it is convenient because I can listen to it later...
