Eye Surgery Reviews

This is a 2-week post-op review after surgery at Leo Plastic Surgery

A few months ago, a coworker said she was getting eye correction surgery, and that made me start looking into whether I should also do eye correction for my sleepy-looking eyes. I thought I should choose a hospital after consultations, so I filtered out viral marketing and spent a lot of time researching online. I visited five clinics that are known as men's-specialized clinics, and at the last one I visited Leo Plastic Surgery. Maybe because it's a clinic famous for men's eyes and noses, there was even a male staff member. After check-in I met the director right away. She was kind and very pretty. Since it was my first surgery, there were a lot of things I didn't know, so I asked the director as many questions as I wanted, and then went in to see the surgeon. I had such a fun and honest conversation with the surgeon before leaving. Maybe because he had worked at famous hospitals for a long time, he clearly had a strong aesthetic sense. He said my horizontal length was sufficient, so I didn't need any canthoplasty, and we decided to do only incisional eye correction. I also liked how he honestly said what was and wasn't necessary. The recovery kit after surgery and the unlimited regeneration laser were nice too. They said they would also handle follow-up checks in a systematic way after surgery, and I had heard many hospitals just leave patients on their own, so I felt that would not be the case here. There was no same-day reservation discount or anything like that, so they gave me time to think comfortably. I went home, thought it over some more, then finally decided on Leo and booked the surgery. On the day of surgery, I fasted for 4 hours and arrived on time, and everything was already prepared. I had one more consultation with the surgeon, and he asked again about the parts I was worried about and my requests, then reflected them. When I got into the operating room and saw the surgical table, I got a little nervous, but after anesthesia I naturally drifted off to sleep, and when I woke up the surgery was over. The pain was only a little stinging from right after surgery until about 3 days later. When I came out after surgery and looked in the mirror, the line seemed to be well-defined. After the surgery they gave me an aftercare package, and inside there were things like an eye mask, pumpkin juice, and sheet masks haha. I was grateful that they packed so many things and took care of me. I was too lazy to do cold compresses often, but even so the swelling was not as bad as I expected. Now, 2 weeks later, it seems like the swelling is almost gone. After surgery, I can definitely feel that the strength needed to open my eyes improved, and I no longer use my forehead muscles. Not only did I get these functional improvements, but my drooping eyelids also disappeared, so I feel like I look a little younger. Anyway, I am extremely satisfied overall~~
