**One thing I want to say first: if possible, it seems best to record everything from the consultation all the way to the operating room. In the end, I was disappointed with the doctor I chose, but I really think recording it was the right thing to do. If a problem comes up later, it becomes evidence that can help confirm what happened at the time. I had revision double eyelid surgery, and now I have already been to the one-month follow-up consultation. Right after surgery, my eyelids looked very covered, so it felt close to no crease at all, but at the time I thought it was just swelling. As time passed, though, I started to feel that there was a difference between the line I wanted and the actual result. I did not think that during the consultation I had asked for a line close to no crease, but the hospital explained it as if that had been the direction I wanted. During surgery, the doctor even said, “Cut this off later.” At the time I was very tense and did not properly understand what it meant, but when I thought about it later, it kept bothering me. It was already ruined... Worried, I went to consult at another hospital too, and there they said that instead of a double-fold technique, a standard incision with skin excision would seem more appropriate. Of course, opinions can differ by hospital, so I am taking that only as a reference. At the one-month follow-up, I wanted to hear why the result looked as if the eyelids were covered like this, but during the consultation, the manager in charge filmed a video on a phone and said they could call the police. I was not shouting or causing a disturbance; I was asking questions and requesting an explanation about the surgical result, but they treated me like a nuisance. The doctor said there was no problem with the surgery itself, and replied that if there was a necessary procedure, I should proceed legally. And I found out today that this hospital is known more for other doctors when it comes to double eyelid surgery (J&S). I regret not researching that enough before surgery. (Me... why did I have to draw the losing ticket?) More than before-and-after photos or flashy reviews, I think it is really important to find a doctor who listens enough to the patient and communicates well. My 700 won... my time...
