My mom had lower blepharoplasty at ID Hospital!!

My mom had eye surgery six months ago, and I heard that if I wrote a review here, they’d give points, but my mom isn’t good with technology and didn’t know how to write something like this, so lol I’m writing the review for her to get the points haha. As she got older, my mom’s eyelids kept sagging, so her eyes looked droopy and her field of vision felt cramped, which really bothered her T_T On top of that, the area under her eyes became puffy too, so every time she looked in the mirror, she felt like she looked tired, and it stressed her out a lot. But it seems like she had seen a lot of her middle-aged friends get double eyelid surgery for similar reasons and end up with eyes that looked too intense or even harsh. My mom was scared she might become artificial-looking too, so she was terribly worried T_T So although she was thinking about surgery, she searched around for a place that would make her look natural and not harsh, and for her first consultation she ended up going to Director Hwang In-seok at ID Hospital (they say this place is famous for middle-aged eyes). During the consultation, the director looked at my mom’s eyes and immediately pointed out the issues in a very intuitive way. He said her eyelid skin thickness wasn’t uniform and got thicker toward the brow area. So if they just did a regular double eyelid surgery and removed a lot of skin, she would end up with the very intense, harsh-looking eyes she hated most. I remember him explaining this in a lot of detail!! Instead, he suggested a brow lift to naturally pull up the sagging area, and combining that with incisional double eyelid surgery and lower blepharoplasty to address the puffiness under the eyes. As soon as we heard that, he sounded so professional that even though it was just the first consultation, my mom booked surgery right away there lol. It’s been exactly about six months since the surgery, and as the daughter watching from the side, I’m really very satisfied. More than anything, my mom loves it too haha. Once the puffy under-eye area was smoothed out, her expression became so much cleaner! Her sagging eyes were also corrected naturally, so people around her keep saying she looks years younger and has become so much prettier lol. Before surgery, my mom was very worried that the brow lift and incisional double eyelid surgery would leave scars. But now, after six months, the scars are so clean that they’re hardly noticeable at all!! Even I, who see her every day, can barely notice them, so that says it all~~ Thanks to the director designing it to fit my mom’s face without overdoing it, there’s zero artificial feeling, which is such a relief. They also gave detailed aftercare instructions after surgery, so my mom said her recovery process was very smooth! I’m so satisfied that I keep thinking I should have taken her for a consultation sooner. If you’re worried about eye surgery for your parents, don’t send them alone; since we know this area well, it would be good to go look around together haha.
