Eye Surgery Considerations

[Clinic A] review

I kept debating until the very end and this was the clinic that got eliminated in the final round.. That said, the consultation was very good and the staff were kind too. I had consulted almost only with single-doctor clinics, and even among those, this one was noticeably small.. and a bit chaotic.. When I went in, nobody was at the front desk and I was just standing there alone.. After waiting about 3 minutes, the staff came out from somewhere and only then started taking care of me. In addition, the sofa and tables were a bit messy.. Because of that, my first impression was not great.. But the consultation with the director was the best!! The consultation was not super long, but it felt like they picked out the key points right away in a short amount of time. I have some double creases in my eyes, so when other clinics set the line for me, it always felt a little awkward.. But only this director drew a line that made me go, oh? a pretty line, a natural line that did not look awkward.. It was the only clinic where I liked the line they drew for me. They also examined me very carefully.. The surgical methods they suggested and the price were the most satisfying here. The director personally took photos with a tablet, and if there was anything that needed extra explanation, they would take more photos on the spot and explain things, for example comparing with eyes relaxed vs. wide open, half-closed photos, raised-brow photos, and so on. I also liked that! The staff member also explained things really well without being pushy.. And when I go to consultations, I also look at the staff member’s face too, because I think it reflects the director’s aesthetic to some degree. She had almost no visible double eyelids? but was very naturally pretty. During consultations I had mostly seen staff who looked overdone, so this was one of the few places where I actually thought someone was pretty.. It was such a satisfying clinic that I really agonized over it, but the reason I did not choose it was.. the director seemed to pursue an extremely, extremely, extremely natural look.. The app reviews also mostly showed eyes that looked like faint double eyelids. I did not want anything flashy, but I did want a semi-out line that would show a bit when my eyes were wide open, and the eye shape they drew as well as all the review photos were narrow in-out or looked like faint double eyelids, so it did not match my preferred style People who like something like Suzy’s eyes would probably like it!
