My cheekbones were too large and prominent compared with my jaw, so I chose Type 1 surgery. My facial outline feels softer than before, and I’m happy that the sharp, angular look is gone. I think good care and diligent management are still necessary after surgery too. It’s been 5 months, but there’s still a little residual swelling.
