I decided to have surgery because of a bulbous nose and chronic rhinitis. The bridge was done with silicone, and the tip was done using septal cartilage and donor rib cartilage. It has been about a month since the surgery, and there is still some swelling. I do not really feel a big improvement in my rhinitis yet. I think a bit more time needs to pass before I can tell. I am also looking forward to the bulbous nose becoming slimmer than before once more of the swelling goes down. Overall, it feels natural without being too noticeable, so I am satisfied. It is still only one month post-op, so I cannot say for sure yet, but I think it will settle in even better after about six months.
