I escaped my sharp, torn-looking monolid with double eyelid surgery, total success T_T lol

I originally had monolids, and my eyes looked a bit sharp, so I kept thinking about double eyelid surgery! I had wanted to do it for a long time, but I kept putting it off because I worried what if something went wrong T_T A lot of my friends around me had already had double eyelid surgery, so I asked about their experiences and searched for tons of photos, and the more I looked, the more I wanted it. I naturally like glamorous, big eyes, so I wanted a defined look rather than something natural, and the place where I had my surgery was great because during the consultation they listened well to the style I wanted lol. I went on a weekday morning, so there was almost no waiting, and the consultation was more comfortable than I expected. The manager did not have an overbearing style of pushing all kinds of things, and the director drew the line for me, which I liked, so I decided to have the surgery lol. I also asked about all the parts I was worried about, and they answered my questions well, so the consultation itself was satisfying! I had natural adhesion, non-incisional eye correction, and upper canthoplasty, and it was my first surgery, so I was really nervous, but it finished faster than I expected lol. On the day of surgery, I kept thinking all sorts of things for no reason, but once it was over, I wondered why I had been so nervous. Right after surgery, of course, the swelling made it look very strange and awkward, but after some time passed, I could see it gradually settling. In the beginning, I checked the swelling in the mirror every day, but now I think that period was when I felt the most anxious T_T lol. There is still a bit of residual swelling left, but my eyes are definitely more defined. I honestly wondered if upper canthoplasty alone would be enough, but the effect is bigger than I expected lol. My eyes look much more open than before, and that cramped feeling is gone T_T Before, even when I put on eye makeup, it did not show very well, but these days I have started enjoying makeup, so I keep buying different things lol. Before, even if I drew eyeliner, it felt kind of buried, but now it shows up much better than before, which is amazing.. When I take photos, my eyes seem to come out a bit clearer too, and the reactions around me are very good lol. My family and friends say it suits me better than expected, which makes me happy. At first I worried it might look too obvious, but so far it does not seem like something I need to worry about that much. I am still recovering, so I will have to see the final result later, but so far I am satisfied! Once the swelling goes down more, I think it will look even more natural, so I am looking forward to that haha. I will leave another review later once more time has passed lol lol
