Eye Surgery Reviews

First double eyelid surgery done! Also had ptosis correction and upper canthoplasty!

I had stress because only one eye had a multiple-fold double eyelid line, and every morning the line looked different and my eyes looked messy whenever I put on makeup, so I finally got surgery after thinking about it for years! What I wanted was not a flashy eye shape, but a look where my original image would not change much and my eyes would just become sharper.

I consulted at a hospital recommended by people I know, and went ahead with natural-adhesion double eyelid surgery, non-incisional ptosis correction, and upper canthoplasty.

Right after surgery, I was more swollen than I expected, but there was no major bruising, and because it was non-incisional, recovery was fairly fast. In the beginning the line looked a little high, but it gradually settled down naturally over time. Now it has settled, and I am most satisfied that the line no longer folds into multiple layers like before and looks neatly organized. I also feel like the strength to open my eyes has become easier than before!

The upper canthoplasty was not overdone either, so it looks very natural and makes me look more open and refreshed. At first I worried it might end up being too natural, but once it settled, I think it turned out pretty nicely with a semi-out look.

I worried a lot because it was eye surgery, but so far I am satisfied. I heard many people get revision double eyelid surgery, so I am glad it came out well enough that I do not need a revision.
