I didn’t have surgery because I wanted to lose weight; I decided on surgery because of my body proportions. I do have a waist, but my hips were so lacking that pants made me look straight up and down, and my side profile was flat, so exercise had its limits. During the consultation, Director Choi Won-hyeok explained that rather than simply adding a lot of fat, the survival rate and left-right balance were more important. That part left an impression on me. Maybe that’s why the volume remained more than I expected even over time. What I’m most satisfied with after surgery is the line connecting the waist and hips. In the past I avoided fitted clothes because my body looked straight, but now that the hips are naturally filled out, my overall proportions look different. My weight hasn’t changed much, but people around me kept asking if I lost weight or started exercising haha
