One-Month Review of Under-Eye Fat Repositioning + Checklist for Consultation

I kept meaning to write a review, but I got busy with work and kept forgetting, so it naturally ended up becoming a one-month update.. haha.. It has already been a month since my under-eye fat repositioning, so I will write a few things that might be helpful :) -1. (Doll-like cheeks, under-eye hollows) Why I decided to get under-eye consultation Originally I was going around to consult about eye correction, but two doctors said that before eye correction, the under-eye hollowness made me look even more tired. One of them, the plastic surgery doctor at the clinic where I had my other surgery, added that right now it would be hard to go straight to eye correction because there was also a lot of eyelid fat and sagging, and if you also consider the forehead area, there would be many things to think about, so he did not recommend it for now. He said it might be better to try under-eye fat repositioning first and, if that improves things, then consider eye correction later. I already felt that my midface was long and I did not have much under-eye fullness, so my eyes looked plain, which is why I chose under-eye fat repositioning first. I also thought that later on, if enough time passed, I might even consider a forehead lift and then eye correction as another option. -2. Consultation checklist for under-eye fat repositioning Q. I do not have much under-eye fullness. Is it possible to create some? A. Yes. While improving the under-eye hollowness, I will make it fit your eyes and keep it from becoming excessive. Q. But where do you use the fat from? A. It varies from person to person, but do you happen to have belly fat? If there is belly fat, it might be good to use that. I was happy and said yes, thinking maybe even a little belly fat could be taken haha The remaining fat after use is said to be stored and can be used later if retouching, aftercare, or similar is needed. Q. A lot of people probably worry about dark circles and other under-eye concerns too. Can under-eye fat repositioning improve that? A. Problems caused by under-eye hollowness can improve, but if the cause is something else like pigmentation, another solution may be needed. Q. Since you are moving fat around, could the face look bigger? A. Not to that extent (laughs) Adding fat will not make the face look bigger, and if you compare it with photos from before surgery later, you will be able to feel both the improvement in the hollow under the eyes and the change in overall impression. -3. One-month update If there is one thing I notice the most, it is that when I take photos, my eyes feel alive...! Before, whenever I took a photo my eyes looked like - - , but now it is really nice that you can actually see my eyes T_T I do not take selfies that often in general, but even so, when I look, the under-eye fullness is visible, my eyes look bigger, and my overall impression feels more distinct, so I am completely satisfied!! Recently I met some high school and college friends, and my high school friends first said things like, 'You look like you're doing well,' and asked what I had done, while my college friends said I looked different and asked if I had lost weight. I think the 'lost weight' comment was probably because I also had double chin liposuction and muscle binding done this time. Anyway, it is not a dramatic change that screams for attention, but I feel good because the correction came out naturally and my impression looks much clearer, so my satisfaction is really high haha I hope this helps, and I will leave a separate review about the double chin later!
