The thing I regretted most after my first nose surgery was that the bridge height was unnecessarily high, so it became what people commonly call an avatar nose..^^ Everyone said at first that it was normal and that it would get better once the swelling went down, but only the tip, which I had hoped would not get lower, got lower, and the bridge still had an awful presence, which was really stressful.. That wasn't all; the bulbous nose was still there, so it was just a high bulbous nose. Because it was a bulbous nose with a high bridge, the nose looked even more noticeable lol. I felt like I could not live like that, so I decided the bridge absolutely had to be lowered, and I went to see a director with a lot of experience in revision rhinoplasty with an elegant look.. I had been thinking all along about lowering the bridge, but depending on the hospital, some said only the tip needed to be touched, while others were split fifty-fifty between lowering the bridge and lifting the tip.. Honestly, I wondered if it would be good enough if just the tip changed, but I also had the anxiety that I might never escape the avatar look. Among the hospitals that said we should remove the silicone and restore the height, this was the one I ended up having surgery at, and the reason I chose it was that they explained in detail what line would suit my face and even the cause of why the bulbous nose had not improved, which increased my trust. A few hospitals had a slightly formulaic feeling, like saying this would be good or that would be better. PTSD after that....^^ Anyway, I also had alar reduction, osteotomy, and bulbous nose correction together, and the scar I was most worried about does not stand out much, so I am happy. Compared with before, the nose line itself is completely different, and even though there is still a little residual swelling, I really think it is much better Even people around me say that after the revision, the exotic vibe became stronger lol. The hospital where I had the first surgery did not really do follow-up checks except for stitch removal and disinfection, but here the director personally checks the progress every three months up to six months, so I think that is better.
