Eye Surgery Considerations

More Added: Review from a community

I visited for my first nose consultation. I tried to make an appointment by phone inquiry, but I was told I would have to wait a year, which shocked me, so I believed it. I thought nose surgery must be this popular after all. Then, less than a week later, they called again and said a cancellation slot had opened up, so consultation was available right away. When I actually went to the hospital, there were many surgery dates still open. I wondered if making people feel disappointed was part of the marketing strategy, but instead it made me feel they were not very professional, so that part was disappointing. The actual consultation at the hospital was professional, so I felt I could trust them. They even had me wear anti-dust protective clothing when taking the CT scan. The doctor also did not recommend an excessive surgery and explained objectively what kind of nose shape would suit my face. He was skeptical about septoplasty or functional nose surgery, and said that for a first nose job, autologous costal cartilage would be too much, and that donor rib cartilage would suit my face size better. He also said that silicone would need to be inserted in order to create a naturally shaped nose. However, the round, cute nose shape that the director was aiming for was not my style, so I hesitated, and in the end the cost was just too high... so I put it on hold T_T
