First, I had both rhinitis nose surgery and Angel Nose done together. The rhinitis nose surgery was covered 110% through my actual expense insurance plus an add-on rider. Good. For the rhinitis nose surgery, they used the septal cartilage they harvested to replace ear cartilage, so I did not have ear cartilage harvested. They said they would use it if the septal cartilage was not enough, but I guess there was enough. First of all, I work a regular office job, so I wanted fast recovery, no visible scars, no nasal packing, and a natural look that does not stand out much (definitely not an overly narrow, chalk-like nose). I had no pain at all. Because I had the rhinitis nose surgery too, nosebleeds kept going for about 3 days, and I think I had a runny nose for almost 1.5 weeks (I basically lived with tissues stuck in my nose). The problem was that because of the rhinitis surgery, the inside was so swollen that breathing was extremely hard. For one week I just breathed through my mouth. The ENT doctor said it was not because of Angel Nose, but because the rhinitis surgery caused swelling. But usually you are supposed to go back to the hospital and get checked one week after surgery, and I could not go because of work, so I went on day 10, which probably made it worse. After I went to the hospital and had the inside of my nose cleaned, it opened right up. But for those who are only considering rhinitis nose surgery, it is fine to go because there was no packing there either. Anyway, Angel Nose was done in a way that filled in only the area below the dorsal hump, and it does not show at all. I live with my family and lied that I only had rhinitis nose surgery, but nobody could tell except my mom lol. However, my nose tip is a little red for now (I dropped my phone on my face on day 2 after surgery, and it has been like that ever since, damn), and my nostrils are slightly uneven. I think it is because of the swelling... I plan to go to the hospital again soon. My side profile changed a lot. Honestly, the front looks the same, though. Maybe there is still some swelling left.. I think so. I highly recommend it for office workers like me who want a natural nose and do not have much time! If you have any questions, leave a comment. I will answer as much as I can.
