The price was for 3 sessions, and another doctor performs the first 3 sessions, with a final 1 extra service session that the lead doctor checks. The price depends on how many areas you do; I did 3 areas, and I got botox for the cheekbones, nasolabial folds, and double chin as a service. My face is small, but because of facial fat I felt I had a lot of empty-looking space, so that was my concern, and the manager picked up on that well.
In the middle, I got a vaccination shot. The consultation notice on KakaoTalk only said that if you had had a vaccination within 3 days, you should tell the front desk; it did not say the procedure could not be done. If they had mentioned that, I would have booked a different day. I told the front desk I had been vaccinated, and they asked what shot it was. When I said it was the flu shot, they said it would be fine. So I waited and went upstairs, but then they suddenly started talking among themselves and said no vaccinations at all were allowed... Since they had told me to tell the front desk, I naturally thought they would adjust the procedure depending on the situation. I was coming from Gyeonggi-do, and I wasted 3 hours round-trip. I complained a bit that they should send the instructions properly, and I ended up going home without getting the procedure that day. My trust dropped a lot there. If even the front desk had stopped me, I would have just blamed myself for not calling first, but I was disappointed that the front desk and the doctor were not communicating and did not really know the procedure details.
There was something noted separately, and at my next session they additionally did some lifting injections, but I am not sure how much effect there was. Before the final doctor session, they took photos, but honestly there was not much difference. So when they asked if I had any concerns, I said the double chin had not improved, and the doctor came in and looked very carefully. The doctor’s injections definitely hurt less, I did not bruise much, and the explanations were kind, which I liked. They said they would definitely define the double chin and jawline, then asked for more injections to be brought in and gave me more. Originally the procedure was supposed to end there, but the doctor told the front desk to say his name and make one more extra reservation, so I got one more procedure for free. Up to that point, no one knew I had had anything done except that I had some bruising, but after one injection from the doctor, the effect was so visible that people kept asking if I had lost weight, and I was satisfied after the doctor’s second treatment.
Still, when I looked at the overall price, I wondered if it was really necessary. If it were me, I might have tried something else instead. Compared with other contouring injections, I did like that this hospital does not use steroids, though that is why it is expensive. Anyway, if you ask whether I would go back and do it again, my answer is no.
