I think I waited almost 3 hours just on the day of surgery.. The surgery was at 6, so I was told to come by 5. I used half a day off and arrived around 4:30, but after changing clothes at 5 and waiting in surgery status, there was no word even after 6. When I asked the desk, only then did they say the previous surgery was delayed a bit and told me to wait, so I was sitting blankly in the waiting room in my patient clothes, not even in the recovery room, with people passing by all the time.. As it got close to 7, I got more and more angry and was about to go home, and only then did they say that it was almost finished and I would be going in soon, so to wait. In the end, I think I went in around 7:30. When the anesthesia wore off, it hurt a lot more than I expected, so I was surprised, and with glasses on it did not show much. It has been a month and a half now, and suddenly I saw something near the outer corner of my eye and it swelled red, so I went to ophthalmology and they said a suture was exposed and told me to go to plastic surgery? I called them and they said it was normal and to just leave it alone, and that was that.. It itched and stung, so I went back to ophthalmology and bought eye drops and antibiotic eye ointment with my own money and applied them.. The lower outer canthoplasty itself is natural, so even my family cannot tell at all whether I had it done when they look closely. I just hope no scar remains at the outer corner of my eye.
