Functional rhinoplasty review

I had functional rhinoplasty using ear cartilage and was about 2 weeks post-op, but no matter how I looked at it, the nasal tip was blunt and looked as if it had been cut off. It had become shorter and shaped even more strangely than before, so after taking all the photos, I contacted the hospital and went in. They said it was true that something was wrong and that they would do revision surgery after 6 months. And when I asked because the shape of the ear where the cartilage was taken looked strange, they answered that it was because of swelling and that I would have to wait at least 6 months to 1 year to see its proper shape. It also seemed strange that ear swelling would last that long, and I couldn’t find many detailed reviews saying the ear had become deformed to the point that earphones could not be used properly after using ear cartilage, so I felt anxious. My nose shape is shorter and blunter than before surgery, and I’m also suspicious about the condition of my ear. Is it really right to spend 6 months like this and just settle it with revision surgery?
