I had gotten a piercing in my ear cartilage once, but it did not heal for months and got infected, so I eventually took it out. Then a keloid formed T_T It was not even small, more like the size of a broad bean?? I could not even tie my hair up, and even in summer I had to keep it down, which was so frustrating, but I heard there was a surgery to remove it, so I looked into it and had it removed. They said that if it were a bit smaller, it could be treated with steroid injections, but my case could not be treated that way, so I had surgery... The surgery time was shorter than I expected, and recovery was basically over in about ten days? It was really simple. I should have looked into it and done it sooner lol. Now my ear cartilage is clean, so I can tie my hair up again! I am never getting another piercing.... T_T
