Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Three-part contouring review at No Jong-hun Plastic Surgery

One-week review of three-part contouring (for someone stressed by asymmetrical cheekbones and a flat, wide-looking face) Even before surgery, my cheekbones were prominent at a 45-degree angle, and there was asymmetry between the left and right cheekbones, so taking photos was stressful every time. Compared with the front, especially from the side or at a 45-degree angle, my face looked flat and there seemed to be a lot of empty space, so I think I became obsessed with covering it with my hair or finding the right angle. Makeup and hairstyles had their limits, so I eventually decided on three-part contouring. I visited several hospitals for consultations, but what I liked here was that they explained my facial problems and the direction for improvement realistically rather than sounding overly pushy, so I decided on them. The doctor also gave a truly detailed consultation, and the coordinator was professional and made it comfortable to choose, so thank you so much!!! During the consultation, they did not just talk about dramatic changes no matter what; they also explained swelling, the recovery process, and limitations in detail, which actually made me trust them more. Right after surgery, I was more or less mentally fine, but as my face started swelling, around day 4 was truly the peak swelling lol. Every time I looked in the mirror I wondered, "Is this really right...?" because it had swollen so much that I briefly thought maybe I should not have done it, but I think seeing so many reviews beforehand helped me endure it. In the beginning I mainly ate porridge, soy milk, and protein drinks, and I drank water often. Whenever I had time, I walked, and I tried to follow the care instructions given by the hospital as much as possible. I am still being careful about opening my mouth, and I think not overdoing it is the most important thing. It has only been one week, so there is still a lot of swelling and it is too early to talk about the final result, but even through the swelling I can clearly feel that my facial line is softer than before, and it is amazing to see that the part where my side cheekbones stuck out has been improved. Especially since the flat-looking feeling seems to have decreased a little, I am already quite satisfied. There is still a long way to go and they say the minor swelling lasts a long time too, so I am trying not to get impatient. If you are thinking about contouring surgery, I hope you will not worry too much about the early swelling. I also panicked when I saw my face on day 4, but as time passes, I can feel it changing a little bit day by day. It is still in progress because it has only been one week, but as someone who was really stressed before surgery, I feel like I made the right decision so far. I am looking forward to seeing how much more it changes once the swelling goes down and it settles, and I will keep doing my best to recover !!!!!!!!!! I am just thankful if the bones fuse well, there are no side effects, and everything is nicely refined. I hope the day comes soon when I can eat freely again T_T I am attaching photos of my face before and after surgery!
