I had double eyelid surgery in Daegu 10 years ago, and I ended up getting it done at a clinic my mom took me to. Maybe because my skin was thick + the crease was high, the sausage-like swelling was really severe. When I closed my eyes, the incision line was too obvious + there was also raised scar tissue along the incision line.
The clinic said it was still the recovery period and could be swelling, and that even if I wanted revision surgery, it would only be possible 6 months after the surgery. So for 6 months, I drank pumpkin juice, exercised, went back to the clinic from time to time, got scar tissue injections? and kept managing it, but even after 2 years, it was the same. I started thinking about revision surgery, but every time I got scar tissue injections at the original clinic, I met the doctor and had follow-ups, and they kept saying it was just swelling. Even if I got AS at this clinic, I felt like there would be no improvement at all, so I did not go ahead with revision surgery at the same clinic. ^^
After that, I searched around and made a list of places in the Seoul/Gyeonggi area said to be good at revision surgery. After actually going to consultations at several places, I ended up getting revision surgery at a small private clinic.
I explained one by one the parts I wanted improved, and the director also explained well using actual cases they had operated on and what the actual surgery would likely involve.
As for the result, I am satisfied with the result after the revision surgery now. The scar tissue became much smaller than before, and the incision line was cleaned up much more neatly than before. I think it improved well into a slim line without a sausage look, but not too thin either?!
